About the Role
We are looking for a Receptionist and Trainee Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injuries team based in our Mackay office. This role is a great way to join a fantastic team and grow your career within Maurice Blackburn and may suit a law student or someone looking for an opportunity to enter the legal industry.
You will be a vital part to the team by providing quality reception and administrative assistance to our team. You will build upon your client service skills by providing support to our clients when they need it most.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to answering and managing incoming calls, diary management, being in frequent contact with clients (both internal and external), file management, preparation of correspondence, court documents and briefs of evidence, and providing day-to-day administrative support.
The experience we are looking for
Our ideal candidate has experience in a law firm or professional services firm, but don't worry if you don't - it's not essential!
What we do need is someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who can work with a diverse range of clients. You'll need to be detail-oriented and highly organised, with strong time management skills to keep up with our fast-paced environment.
