This is a temporary position that could become a full time benefited position.
Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Wastewater or Collections Certification within a year of hire date.
Background check, drug screen and drivers report required.
Responsibilities:
• Performs routine maintenance of wastewater collection systems.
• Cleans vehicles, heavy equipment, pumps, tools, and other stationary and portable equipment.
• Preforms routine inspections of vehicles and equipment; performs minor maintenance and lubrication of machinery such as changing oil and greasing equipment.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, equipment, and tools that are required to load, unload, haul and spread sand, gravel, dirt and/or waste products (i.e., sludge, product waste, packaging waste, etc.); digs and refills ditched and trenches.
• Maintains grounds, buildings, and lift stations; cuts grass, weeds and brush; trims trees and bushes; rakes grass, leaves and trash.
• Operates valves and gates either manually or by remote control.
• Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Holds a valid driver’s license
• Holds a valid Class A or Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement
• Must be able to operate a combination cleaning truck (i.e. Vactor)
