Brook Green is a supportive and exciting first opinion practice with a friendly team who will help provide excellent contextualised care for our patients and clients.
Our newly refurbished Brook Green clinic in the heart of West London, are looking for an engaged and motivated Veterinary Surgeon with three plus years experience, to provide excellent, kind and personal clinical care to the pets of Brook Green (W6).
At Village Vet, we encourage you to develop your skills and follow your interests, so if you want to take on a certificate, this will be supported. We really want our practices to be a place where you can enjoy being a vet and work up your cases as much as possible, so we are always open to innovative ideas on how to achieve this, whether that involves further training or investing in new kit. We also benefit from a peripatetic surgeon (CertSAS), visiting a neighbouring practice which allows us to keep our orthopaedic cases in-house. For those tricky cases and overnight care, we are supported by our 24-hour hospital in Hampstead and a network of referral centres including London Vet Specialists, Davies and NDSR.
We schedule our days to include a mix of consults and surgery so you will have the opportunity to practice and hone your skills. We have time built into the day to catch up on admin, make phone calls and have a break. Our weekend rota is just 1:4 consulting shifts only (total of 5 hours) We are open to offering a 4 or 5 day week, whichever suits you better.
Responsibilities
· Patient/Clinical care - Delivering a high level of clinical care to standards in conjunction with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme
· Client care - The delivery of client satisfaction to an exceptional level as defined by Village Vet. This includes making all your interactions with clients fully focused on delivering value, exceptional service and warmth to the clients
· Teamwork– Working within the team, to contribute your skills, efforts and personal strengths to help always ensure a harmonious team ethos.
