Your role

Radio-Canada Estrie is seeking a videographer journalist based in Sherbrooke. You will report to Charles Beaudoin, the head of journalism and programming. We are looking for a qualified individual skilled at developing story ideas, proposing, preparing, and presenting content that particularly resonates with the 18-35-year-old audience in the Estrie region, on the Info app and all other Radio-Canada platforms. The selected videographer journalist will be responsible for capturing images with their phone and presenting them in a vertical format.

You will demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, thoroughness, and a great deal of autonomy. Strong skills in simplifying and explaining information clearly are essential. You must be able to work well under pressure, conduct your own research, gather materials, format, and present your content confidently across various platforms.

Your work schedule will be variable, and you must be able to travel across your coverage area. You will bring original ideas and solutions to our news programs and demonstrate your ability to prepare your reports for our news bulletins. You may be required to cover stories on other platforms and must work on a flexible schedule, often independently.
