Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The position is full-time and is responsible for promoting peer-to-peer fundraising among the volunteer population.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for meeting a monthly fundraising target through active communication and promotion of fundraising.
- Implement the Volunteer Engagement Strategy in a positive, authentic and ethical way, with the volunteer experience at the forefront.
- Manage pre-arrival communication with volunteers to promote fundraising.
- Provide direct support to volunteers and staff to assist them with setting up and managing their personal fundraising pages.
- Communicating regularly the importance and impact of volunteer fundraising on the work that we can complete. Motivate, empower and inspire volunteers to fundraise and advocate for the program.
- Develop, organize and oversee on-site fundraising activities and events.
- Update and maintain Salesforce’s tracking systems of cash and in-kind gifts on program as well as personal fundraising pages.
- Compile and deliver accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting to the Volunteer Engagement Manager.
- This role is divided between the office and the field. 30%-50% of the working week should be spent in the field working alongside volunteers.
- We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff. While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required

Education High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience Previous experience working with All Hands and Hearts, or another organization in a development setting. Previous development, engagement or community development experience in a professional setting. Previous experience fundraising is preferred.

Special Competencies/Certifications Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. The individual needs to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Typical starting salary is $14 - $15/hour and up to $16 for highly qualified candidates who have previous experience in this role.
