Kenny Electric, established in 1974 is a leading Industrial and Commercial Electrical Contractor with a diverse portfolio of work. We started as an Electrical contractor serving the Colorado market, but have expanded our operations over the past 15 years to include an office in Casper, WY. Many individuals have made a career with Kenny Electric with over 40 employees with 15+ years of service.

We are looking for experienced 4^th Year Apprentices who have over 6,000 documented hours in the electrical trade. We offer our apprentices a diverse range of electrical experiences including work with oil and gas, biopharma, light industrial and commercial facilities; performing installations and maintenance, and setting up building automation systems.

A 4^th Year Apprentice’s duties consist of:

• Assisting in performing tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed electrician to learn installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems.


• Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment and fixtures using hand tools and power tools


• Assembling, installing, testing and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools

Qualified candidates must be able to read blueprints and electrical diagrams; possess strong communication skills; have an ability to lead small crews and the ability to work with minimal supervision; study and obtain current NEC code knowledge; perform warehouse duties and material handling as needed; perform Pre-fab duties both on and off site as needed; and other duties as assigned. Candidates must be able to provide affidavits of their experience from a licensed electrical subcontractor at hire date.
