Job Description:

- Collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, and business clients to provide timely, high-quality paralegal services with moderate to advanced complexity.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining corporate records and legal documents, including proper indexing and filing of original documents.
- Coordinates annual and special meetings, acts as secretary for meeting minutes, and supports activities such as acquisitions, divestitures, and entity management.
- Communicates with clients and legal reviewers to resolve workflow inconsistencies and takes proactive corrective actions as needed.
- Assists in implementing legal technology, provides user training, and liaises with IT to resolve technical issues.
- Maintains and improves SharePoint sites as assigned.
- Assists with due diligence and supports business and finance transaction closings.
- Conducts legal research and analysis on complex issues using statutes, judicial decisions, and regulations.
- Handles Know Your Customer requests and supports transaction closings from commencement to completion.
- Assists in preparing and maintaining the business continuity plan for the legal team.
- Prepares required filings, such as annual holding company statements and other quarterly or annual returns.
- Manages intercompany agreements and ensures accuracy and execution of agreements.
- Updates and maintains the centralized stock registry for various entities.
- Serves as a Missouri Notary Public.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal setting.
- Advanced knowledge of paralegal processes, client needs, and key business drivers.
- Proven ability to support legal and business functions, analyze complex legal issues, and develop effective solutions.

Required:

- Intermediate knowledge of legal and business document terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong review and proofreading skills.
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
