About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Verdara Boutique Apartments in the heart of Glendale. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our apartment buildings. Your main goal will be to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. You will work closely with our property management team to ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance or related field
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• US License with at least 3 years with a clean driving record

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management team in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Assist with apartment turnovers and renovations as needed

Skills:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair to ensure that our apartment buildings are properly maintained and in good working order. You will also use your excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and property management team.
