Academy of Art University has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced High School Recruiter to inspire, educate and motivate High School students to pursue studying at Academy of Art University. If you have an appreciation for the arts and education, are a charismatic, confident public speaker and would enjoy conducting presentations and facilitating outreach programs for prospective students at bay area High Schools, we encourage you to apply for the ArtU High School Recruiter position.

The High School Recruiter at Academy of Art University will travel to High Schools in the Bay Area to conduct engaging presentations and facilitate outreach programs for prospective students.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and foster relationships with educators and counselors in the bay area. 
  • Drive lead generation and enrollment pipelines.
  • Communicate accurate, current, and comprehensive product knowledge, including, for example, information about the Academy’s academic programs, resources available to assist students, internal processes and procedures, and Academy enrollment policies
  • Effectively utilize all tools available, including database and software programs
  • Review and remain familiar with Academy of Art University procedures, and expectations for compliant behavior as demonstrated by rules and regulations promulgated by the U.S. Department of Education as well as Academy’s accrediting agencies and licensing bodies
  • Exhibit leadership skills when communicating with students (or their families) and co-workers 
  • Facilitate the admissions application and initiate the enrollment process for students
  • Travel as required based on seasonal event schedule
  • Support the Campus Tours & Events team by effectively inspiring, motivating and engaging prospective students and families by leading tours through University facilities
  • Work weekends and/or evenings as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred with preference in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications preferred
  • Prior professional experience in Marketing/PR/Sales
  • Engaging presentation skills are needed
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with great organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and able to immediately adjust to rapid changes are required
  • A valid Driver's license and good driving record is preferred

Academy of Art University offers full-time employees health insurance, 401k options, paid vacation based on years of service (15 days' accrual at start), paid holidays, paid sick leave and a commuter benefit program. The Academy also offers full-time employees an opportunity to take one undergraduate course tuition free each semester. 

Compensation: $68,640.00 annually
