We are looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team at our hospital in Anchorage, AK. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alaska.

Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian will include:

• Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals


• Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries


• Prescribing medication and providing medical advice to pet owners


• Performing surgery and other procedures


• Maintaining patient records


• Working with other members of the veterinary team to provide excellent customer service

Qualifications for the Associate Veterinarian position include:

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school


• License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alaska


• At least 1 year of experience working as a veterinarian


• Strong clinical skills and decision-making ability


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
