SALARY - $107,915 - $153,354 per year
Telework eligible - Yes—as determined by the agency policy. DLA telework-eligible positions require at least 60% in office time (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week). For those eligible and with supervisory approval, regular and recurring telework may be requested Monday and/or Friday only.
DUTIES:
- Assists the Service Owned Items in DLA Custody Program Management Office (SOIDC PMO) to communicate the program vision and desired outcome in terms of strategic goals in support of audit initiatives.
- Assists with analyzing deviations and problems and develops solutions to ensure commitments are met.
- Provides program leadership to ensure commitments to and from various stakeholders is met and execution targets are achieved.
- Resolves conflicts between and among stakeholders with competing agendas and interests, while maintaining cohesiveness in program effort and direction.
- Reviews and approves or recommends approval of schedules, and contractor support oversight and management
- Serves as an authoritative source for decisions and guidance dealing with compromises and changes in program philosophy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify for an Audit Support Program Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after- competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Assist the SOIDC PMO with guidance in support of DLA's audit strategy and execution, to resolve the agency's audit issues.
- Assist with managing all Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and keeps implementation efforts on schedule and synchronized across the Agency.
- Managing a variety of short and long-range projects and studies in order to assure that the SOIDC PMO fulfills the requirements of its mission.
- Managing complex workflow redesign projects using measurement tools.
- Improvement of productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of SOIDC PMO program operations.
- Interfacing with other organizational elements to validate and implement changes to operational procedures in audit remediation.
