About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Systems, the Business Systems Analyst acts as a strategic partner within the Business Systems team, collaborating with stakeholders to align ERP-related solutions with Richards Packaging’s long-term objectives. This role focuses on leading process improvement initiatives and executing solutions that are effective, scalable, secure, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

The successful applicant will:

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the ERP system, addressing any issues and ensuring optimal system performance.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and third-party application providers, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions, validating requirements, and ensuring effective implementation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business processes, requirements, and objectives.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance business operations and efficiency.
• Oversee functional testing efforts, including enhancements, fixes, and upgrades, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Assist stakeholders with their reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Stay updated on new features, updates, and best practices related to the ERP system, ensuring the organization leverages the latest technological advances.
• Lead training initiatives related to the current ERP system and any future enterprise systems and technologies.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis and system configurations, with a focus on ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven ability to manage and lead technical projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in technical configuration and integration strategies.
• Skilled in utilizing reporting platforms (preferably Power BI) to create reports and dashboards for multiple departments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively.

Assets:

• Familiarity with relational database management systems, including SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Data Warehouse environments, such as Microsoft Fabric and Data Lakes.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central).
