CAD Programmer

When it comes time to meet our customer’s needs, you will be STEP ONE of the build process – creating drawings and determining materials needed to create the perfect product. Primarily using SolidWorks, you will be designing and drawing computerized HVAC drawings and components, using next-level problem solving skills to ensure that CDI products remain world-class.

What you will be doing:

• Creating drawings and BOMs
• Creating sales order drawings from components
• Designing and drawing computerized HVAC drawings and components
• Entering and modifying information in our parts management system

Qualifications:

Education

• Minimum of 1 year post-secondary training in mechanical or architectural drafting using SolidWorks

Experience

• Microsoft Windows 
• SolidWorks experience is required
• At least 1 year experience working with sheet metal in a manufacturing setting is preferred
• Previous HVAC experience is preferred
• Great at problem solving and decision making
