Salary: Up to the Mid $60,000s

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support our project managers and work closely with subcontractors.

Role Overview: As a Construction Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects. This position is administratively focused and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various software tools. You will assist project managers in coordinating tasks, managing documentation, and communicating with subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in resolving them promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute project reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation as required.
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting for projects.
  • Utilize Excel and project management software (Procore or Viewpoint) to manage project data and documentation.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a construction administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Procore or Viewpoint is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology is a plus.
