Our well-established client is seeking a Conveyancing Secretary/Paralegal to join their Residential Property team in Burgess Hill.

Key Responsibilities 

·       Provide full secretarial and administrative support to a residential conveyancing fee earner.

·       Assist the fee earner with all aspects of conveyancing transactions, including shared ownership work.

·       Handle client communications via phone, email, and in person.

·       Open and manage client files, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.

·       Use case management systems to ensure smooth workflow.

·       Act as the first point of contact for clients when dealing with matters post exchange, ensuring professional and friendly service.

 

About You 

The ideal candidate will have:

·       Previous experience in a conveyancing team or legal environment, including shared ownership work.  

·       Excellent communication skills and a friendly telephone manner.

·       Strong IT and case management skills.

·       The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·       A positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
