Job Summary:


Centuria Corporation is seeking a Senior database administrator to join our team in Norman, OK. This candidate will be responsible for the administration of Oracle, MS SQL Server and MS Access databases supporting the NEXRAD Radar Operations Center (ROC).


 


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for installing, configuring, patching, troubleshooting and administering the ROC Agile PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) tool. The Agile tool utilizes Oracle database server, Oracle Agile Server running on Oracle Weblogic, Agile File Manager Server and AutoVue.

  • Designs, implements, and maintains Microsoft SQL Server and MS Access configuration management, logistics, budget, documentation, and time management databases.  Develops and maintains associated database backend applications software.

  • Develops and maintains ROC Program Branch related pages located on the ROC web site.

  • Utilizes MS SQL Server Reporting Services to provide database reporting capabilities to ROC users.

 


 


Qualifications:


  • At least seven years’ experience as a database administrator in positions of increasing responsibility.

  • Experience administering Oracle databases. Experience should include database design, configuration, maintenance, patching, applying security controls, troubleshooting, and backup/restoral strategies.

  • Experience administering Oracle middleware products such as Weblogic.

  • Experience administering relational databases including MS SQL server and MS Access. Experience should include database design, maintenance, applying security controls, troubleshooting and development of related web backend applications.

  • Experience using VB.net and Visual Studio.net.

  • Experience using MS SQL Server Integration Services.

  • Experience using MS SQL Server Management Studio.

  • Experience using MS SQL Server Reporting Services.

  • Experience with MS Windows Scripting.

 


 


Additional Preferred Skills:


 


  • Experience with Agile 9.x.

  • Familiarity using source software version control systems such as GIT or Razor.

  • Experience applying Configuration Management (CM) principles.

  • Experience in Backup & Restoral of relational databases.

  • Experience with  XML,  Performance Tuning,  Capacity Monitoring , Data Security, MS Windows  application patching,  data modeling, ¨ C#”, Java,  Groovy Scripting , Netbeans, and IIS.

Education:


  •  Bachelors degree in Computer Science or MIS.
