JOB SUMMARY

This position creates a daily list of reported alleged violations to be followed up by visits to residences.  Position has daily contact with residents to determine whether complaint is violation of declaration of restrictions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes, but not limited to) 

  • Follows up on all reported violations; communicates with residents in person or by phone, then determines whether a Deed Restrictions Reminder must be written.
  • Reviews all violations daily, observes and writes reviews.
  • Reviews deed compliance violation letters for accuracy before letters are sent certified mail.
  • Inputs data/statistics and generates reports for the Community Standards Manager and Community Standards Administrative Coordinator pertaining to deed compliance and violations.
  • Inspects Community Standards Officer’s truck for maintenance and oil changes.
  • Communicates regularly with residents demonstrating courtesy and understanding while explaining violations.
  • Attend Board meetings as assigned by the Director of Resident Services or Community Standards Manager.
  • Attends community events or meetings as assigned by the Director of Resident Services or Community Standards Manager. 

Additional

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • May be expected to perform additional duties in an emergency.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

MINIMUM CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
  • All candidates and employees must successfully pass background screening. 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (include, but are not limited to)

Knowledge

  • Maintains working knowledge of the Declaration of Restrictions.
  • Maintains working knowledge of Numbered Districts Adopted Rules.
  • Maintains working knowledge of the Numbered Districts Architectural Review Manuals.

Skills

  • Proficient personal computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office package involving Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.  

Abilities

  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to our residents.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and professional appearance.  

EQUIPMENT

Position regularly requires the use of telephones, fax, copy machine, personal computers, digital cameras, and other productivity software and other office equipment. Position requires the use of/driving of own or District vehicle.
