Foxgroves are exclusively recruiting for a Deputy HR Manager specialising in Employee Relations and Engagement & Wellbeing for our prestigious client in West Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a significant impact within a growing well known organisation. This is a fully site based role with occasional travel during working hours to various sites across North and West Cumbria.
You will lead complex employee relations cases, providing expert guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters. Developing effective training programmes for managers on handling ER issues will be a key focus, alongside building positive relationships with trade unions and staff representatives.
As the engagement specialist, you'll develop and implement organisation-wide employee engagement strategies and lead innovative wellbeing initiatives across multiple sites. You'll design staff surveys, create action plans from analysis, and develop retention strategies while monitoring turnover patterns.
Your talent for developing others will be utilised in designing and delivering comprehensive management development programmes. You'll provide coaching and mentoring to line managers, create practical toolkits and guidance materials, and lead talent management and succession planning initiatives.
In your leadership capacity, you'll deputise for the HR Manager when required, including attending senior leadership meetings. You'll contribute to HR strategy development, policy review, and provide expert escalation support for complex HR issues.
