Job Description

The HR Director serves as a consultant and provides HR leadership to Global Field Operations senior leaders on its talent agenda and HR/Labor related issues.  The HR Director acts as employee champion and change agent to drive engagement and partners/collaborates with the HR COE functions to deliver value added service to the business unit.   The HR Director is knowledgeable about the business financial position, its short- mid- & long-range plans, its culture and its competition and aligns HR strategies to meet business needs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required Bachelor’s (Master degree preferred)
  • 10-15 years human resources experience, including at least 5 at a management level or above
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • HR Certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Experience working in matrix environment
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, training and development, recognition and rewards, compensation, performance management, collective bargaining.
  • Previous leadership experience supporting multi-site remote field locations
  • Ability to travel across the U.S. as needed

  • Financial knowledge (business acumen), consulting skills, leadership skills, collaborative, multi-tasking, problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent client management skills and strong conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Independent and a self-motivator with a strong sense of urgency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with automated HRIS systems (i.e. SAP)
