With over a century of experience, knowledge, innovation embedded in the designs, our large electric motors and generators are custom engineered to meet unique operating conditions. The synchronous motors are capable of driving some of the largest centrifugal compressors in the world in critical application such as natural gas pipelines, production of LNG and other hydrocarbon processing.

The team is an international engineering organization with over 20 engineers in the UK, the Netherlands, India and Czech Republic. For development, new build- and services projects, the Electrical Engineer is the designer of the generators and motors.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing of large electric motors and generators (> 10 MW)
Supervising tests on the test bed in our Czech factory
Being responsible for technical order specifications, including the required quality requirements
Providing technical support to the internal departments on all electrical subjects like cable selection, anti-condensation heaters, heat exchanger design etc
Ensuring that all design and technological outputs comply with internal, international standards and safety regulations, including environmental requirements
Initiating technical and process improvements by application of modern trends in technology and design
Performing trouble shooting on technical issues with machines in operation, to support availability of our machines for customers on site worldwide
Supporting the sales department with proposing new concepts or solutions to customers
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a BA/MA accreditation in Electrical Engineering
Have proven experience with computer simulations with software like MATLAB, ANSYS and PSCAD
Have related experience with large electrical machines design
Be motivated to become the subject matter expert on electrical machines
Be able to travel to our Czech factory – 10%
Be fluent in English, hold a UK passport/work permit and not require sponsorship in the future

Hybrid position – Monday to Friday with 3 days on site, 2 days remote per week
