Description

Anderson-Negele is seeking an Electrical Hardware Intern to join our team in our Fultonville, NY. This position will be responsible for the execution of PCBA manufacturing our- and resourcing project by collecting design data, managing documentation, and analyzing electrical component life cycle status. This position requires some direction and mentorship but should possess enough knowledge and insight to make most decisions on their own. This position does require cross-functional work esp. with manufacturing engineering and purchasing.


In this role you will:



  • Lead and execute Sustainment/Quality related projects, VAVE related projects and margin improvement projects

  • Track projects metrics, cost, schedule, and quality targets

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects

  • Implement and maintain regulatory approvals

  • Cross-functionally help improve sustaining process


On your first day, we’ll expect that you’ll have:



  • Bachelor's or Master's student in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience with schematic design and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or Eagle.

  • Administer data entry for the Company’s product components into operating system (JDE).

  • Creating and maintain Bills of Material within operating system (JDE).

  • Experience with ERP system JDE, and material management tool Z2Data, is preferred but not required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working multi-functionally with manufacturing, quality and purchasing teams.
