Prysmian Group is currently recruiting for a licensed Electrician to support our growing maintenance team business. Good communication skills (both verbal and written). This position requires flexible working hours and rotating shifts.
Compensation
•    Starting base rate:  $34.98 per hour plus premiums
•    Increasing to $36.30 per hour plus premiums after probation.
•    Paid lunch- Get paid for 13 hours while you work 12 hours when on shift.
•    Paid lunch- Get 2.5 hours of pay per week when on days (Mon-Fri).
•    Pension plan with Company matching up to 6%  
•    Health and Dental benefits paid by Employer  
•    Yearly fitness allowance  
•    Gain Share Incentive Program - Up to $3,000 
•    Training and Development Program  
•    Tool allowance of $500/year
•    Two pairs of safety boots per year

Qualifications & Responsibilities
•    MUST BE a licensed electrician (309A or 442A)
•    Minimum 3 years of experience working in a production/industrial environment with extensive experience in machine troubleshooting.
•    Ability to read, program, and troubleshoot industrial PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley experience preferred).
•    Ability to install, commission and troubleshoot AC and DC motor drive systems (Parker and ABB experience preferred).
•    Experience diagnosing faults in electrical/electronic systems and equipment and repairing or replacing electrical and electronic components.
•    Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
•    Demonstrates a safety and quality-conscious approach while performing work duties and can work in a team environment.
•    Tests electrical and electronic equipment for proper function.
•    May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
•    Work with the Electrical/Engineering team on other electrical projects as required.
•    Maintains and improves the plant’s preventive/predictive maintenance system.
•    Plans installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications and installs all electrical and electronic devices.
•    Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles, and installs conduits and other electrical conductor raceways.
•    Splices and terminates electrical conductors.
•    Possesses good verbal communication skills and can follow verbal instructions and written documentation related to the job.

Work Environment: 
•    Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds
•    Frequent walking, standing, squatting, and reaching required
•    Ability to do shift work
