The Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a seasoned estate planning lawyer to make a tree-change to Toowoomba and join the reputable Murdoch Lawyers Wills and Estate Planning team.

You will be a superstar in the eyes of your clients, and demonstrate an enthusiasm for shaping and protecting the future of your clients by providing exceptional estate planning advice.

Your passion for helping clients in regional communities will position you well to support our client base of professionals, SME owners, primary producers and self-funded retirees, a large portion of whom live in regional communities in Queensland and beyond.

A day in this role will see you interacting with great clients, undertaking challenging and interesting work and when your day is done, you can switch off knowing we value your work-life balance and encourage you to leave your work at work. Your wellbeing is important to us so we will look to tailor an attractive package around your situation.

A relocation package is on offer for the right candidate considering a tree-change to the thriving regional centre of Toowoomba. This role may also be offered as a remote working arrangement with occasional travel to Toowoomba or client locations required.

The Work

Matters you will be working on will include:

• Estate Planning

• Succession Planning

• Estate Administration (supervising paralegals)

• Superannuation

• Tax

• Structuring & Asset Protection, Related Party Property Transfers

We are excited to offer this opportunity as a full or part-time position.

The Team

You will work alongside, and be supported by a team of seasoned legal professionals, including your Director who has a wealth of experience and has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Queensland Wills, Estates and Succession Planning Lawyer for five years running.

Due to the requirements of this role, we are seeking applications from those who have significant PAE within Estate Planning, and can demonstrate experience in each requirement of this role.
