Synerfac is seeking a HR Manager for our client in Hampton, VA. Our client is a premier metal fabricator company that supports the defense industry.
The HR Manager will run the HR department along with managing practices, processes and strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Onboarding and exiting all employees (thru formal orientation process or exit procedure)
* Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices and keep up to date on all changes and/or revisions
* Handle all workman's compensation cases
* Administration of all employee changes (keeping personnel files up to date)
* Administration of the EEO and AAP programs
* Input of all new employees in ADP
* Paying mileage, when necessary
* Maintaining Applicants/New Hires/Terminations in a tracking system
* Handling of all drug tests (i.e. pre-employment, random, suspicion, accident)
* Badging of all employees and permanent visitors
* Administration of the FOB system (entry and exit of premises)
* Knowledge of E2 Shop Support System or JobBoss a plus
* Implement and train staff on company policies
* Handle program administration of the company's participation in the Virginia Talent Pipeline Project
* Ensuring company procedures comply with employee regulations
* Prepare VETS-4212 and EEO-1 reports for submission
* Monitoring/handling of various aspects of an employee's performance, such as sick leave and attendance
* Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
- 5+ years of Human Resources Management in a manufacturing/industrial industry
- Experience with ADP/ADP Net Benefits and Job Boss Software preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
