Description

Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for performing Human Resource related duties on a professional level and will work closely with Human Resources Director in a variety of functional areas.

In addition to demonstrating the company’s Core Competencies applicable to all positions, the HR Generalist is responsible for the following Professional Skills Competencies:


PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/Key Accountabilities: (Other duties and projects will be assigned, as necessary.)


Program Management

1. Provide training and set examples for new hires and tenured employees.

2. Provide answers to questions for all employees related to HR or payroll.

3. Work in collaboration with Recruiter to conduct employee background checks as needed or requested. Responsible for overall compliance of regulated background screen requirements

4. Provides direct support to the Director of HR.

5. Works in collaboration with Recruiter on Onboarding and Orientation of new employees

6. Will assist with oversight of compensation programs and assist with the performance evaluation system.

7. Works in collaboration with the Director or HR on benefits administration and implementation.

8. Will maintain compliance with all state and federal employment laws.

9. Must be able to produce sophisticated Human Resource reports.

10. Directly responsible for employee recordkeeping/file management.

11. Works in collaboration with designated BHA personnel on Company newsletter and Employee Engagement.

12. Workers Compensation Administration

13. Directly responsible for employment verifications.

14. Assists with payroll and other HR responsibilities related to payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing

15. Work in collaboration with Recruiter on recruiting of new employees as needed or requested.

16. FMLA and ADA Compliance and administration

Management/Leadership

4. Manage 2 or more HR Coordinators/Recruiters

Other Duties

1. Perform other duties and special projects to support various organizational initiatives, as assigned.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Education, experience, training and specific skills to fulfill the primary responsibilities and duties of the job):

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and/or related experience
  • Preferred 5 years’ experience in Human Resources.

Training and Specific Skills and Abilities:

Salary Description

$75,000-$90,000
