WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

As our Human Resources Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in the transition from ADP to Workday with seamless integration, implementation and ongoing support of Workday and other HR technology systems.  This role includes a major focus on technical and employee support of payroll. Your job will be to ensure that these systems are effectively utilized and maintained, enhancing business processes and user experiences. You will have a unique opportunity to drive the success of our HR technology solutions and make a significant impact on our organizational efficiency.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with internal project teams and stakeholders to track progress, provide status updates, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for specific HRIS functionalities, offering guidance and support to internal users.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, implement Workday best practices, and prepare them for system rollouts.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday and other HR technology solutions, including system configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and data integrity. 
  • Provide leadership during transition from ADP to Workday HRIS and Payroll modules; serve as the local connection to Edwards headquarters for payroll issues/updates.
  • Create and manage standard and ad-hoc reports to meet business needs and ensure system accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources to resolve issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and testing to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal clients on new processes and functionalities; assist in developing end-user documentation.
  • Engage with the Workday Community to stay updated on new issues and solutions.
  • Implement system Change Requests following established change management processes.
  • Provide comprehensive configuration support for Workday solutions, including data conversion and integration.
  • Research and advise on Workday best practices, module dependencies, and reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related system issues and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining system integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues including but not limited to; Workforce Management (timesheets, schedules, and related policies), Time Away from Work & Balances, System Access, etc.
  • Manage Time and Attendance program and work with managers to ensure time data is correct for each pay cycle. 
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to support HR-related initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand system requirements, implement enhancements, and facilitate system updates.
  • Conduct system testing for new features, updates, and fixes, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
  • Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and updates as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Workday.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

 

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources operations
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday with a solid understanding of HR processes; solid hands-on experience with ADP also required.
  • Proficiency in business process mapping 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Solid understanding of HRIS information structure and processes
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and operate with discretion

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
