Responsibilities






 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Builds a collaborative partnership with hiring managers and educates on Highmark’s hiring policies, practices, systems/processes, and facilitates the recruiting and onboarding process.
  • Oversee the hiring workflow to ensure proper job postings, assessments, references, offer letters, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding.
  • Accurately enters candidate data into HRIS and follows up on missing/incomplete new hire documentation.
  • Assist hiring managers to ensure hiring needs are met and provide guidance in the selection of the best candidate.
  • Assist managers in utilizing ATS and HRIS systems
  • Assist Talent Manager in developing innovative talent and engagement strategies.
  • Provides operational and administrative support to the Human Resources team.
  • Interacts with Equifax in responding to unemployment claims
  • Maintains accurate HR records on all associates within UKG
  • Cross-trains in other HR functional areas
  • Commitment to continuous learning to keep up with the changes in employment law within Human Resources and best practices within the apartment industry.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all personnel information.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned by Talent Manager or Managers in the HR Department
  • Occasional overtime/weekends may be required.








Qualifications






Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, college degree preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of HR administrative experience
  • Average proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • UltiPro (UKG) experience, preferred
  • Professional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service, organizational skills and team player disposition
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong time management skills with acute attention to detail
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
