Job Summary

The Senior Software Developer will leverage their expertise in .NET and its associated languages, stacks, and environments to develop high-quality computer programs. This role is crucial in aligning business needs with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of key applications that drive business performance. The Senior Software Developer is responsible for ensuring application security and optimizing performance throughout the design, coding, and testing phases. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. Flexible schedule options available between 7am - 7pm after six months of employment.


 


Setting: Professional office environment. Hybrid and remote options available.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with customers, managers, and other Software Developers to thoroughly understand application business requirements prior to development.

  • Work with IT staff to develop detailed technical specifications, including coding, designing, and developing user interfaces that meet customer requirements.

  • Develop and participate in the creation of applications using .NET architecture with Visual Studio in C#.

  • Adhere to systems development life cycle (SDLC) processes in executing software projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

  • Analyze, modify, debug, and maintain code as requested by managers or customers to enhance productivity and functionality.

  • Ensure robust documentation and effective communication throughout the development process.

  • Continuously stay updated with industry trends and best practices to contribute to the organization’s innovation and efficiency.


 


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in C# development.

  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

  • Solid understanding of AGILE principles and methodologies, with experience in the SCRUM framework.

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with development technologies such as Angular, Unit Testing, NuGet packages, and Azure DevOps.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
