Work experience


  • Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware and software issues, primarily during onboarding and offboarding.

  • Readily available to chat or speak with new users to troubleshoot any connectivity/hardware issues.

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems, laptops, and other peripherals.

  • Respond to and support requests in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access management.

  • Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.

  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on various software and hardware.

  • Assist other IT personnel with other duties, as needed.


Job Requirements


  • Experience with a help desk ticketing system.

  • Ability to organize and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.

  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable in high pressure situations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Knowledge


  • High school diploma required.

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, etc.) and common software applications.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365, SharePoint, and experience with various browsers preferred.

  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and support software preferred.
