The Role

Under general direction of the Manager of IT Service Desk, the IT Support Technician will provide technical assistance to staff.  Set up hardware and install software. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and perform basic maintenance and repair of parts and equipment. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village









Responsibilities






What You Will Do

  • Provide support on various hardware, including printers, telephones, Smartphones, mobile PCs, desktops, monitors, and other peripherals.
  • Opens and responds to ticket requests from users and performs necessary action to close them out.
  • Provides software application support and troubleshooting for staff.
  • Participates in network upgrades and system rollouts.
  • Documents PC equipment moves and maintains an accurate inventory.
  • Travels to all agency locations for setup and technical support.
  • Creates and maintains system documentation.
  • Sustains detailed product knowledge for existing versions and new versions of healthcare software.
  • Performs other duties as requested.








Qualifications






Who You Will Be

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area and three+ (2+) years of comparable IT technical support experience
  • Experience with network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft O365, Active Directory Microsoft Office.
  • Basic windows networking experience.
  • Basic understanding of technical terminology.
  • Willingness to travel to all agency sites to provide technical support.
  • Ability to work in a Team environment and independently.
  • Possession of excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels and external vendors.
