ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based in our Head Office in Wangara, Perth.

We are seeking a Junior IT Support Officer to join our passionate and dedicated team, under the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Administrator. You will be responsible for helpdesk and desktop support to end users remotely or face to face. Installing, supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure at regional offices and sites.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • L1 technical support to our internal and external workforce as a part of our helpdesk team providing telephone, desktop and remote support.
  • Supplying administrative support to the IT team
  • Providing user training for basic applications
  • Maintaining appropriate records of warranties & licences
  • Working collaboratively with the broader IT team and other departments to resolve issues

About You

You will demonstrate capability in the following:

  • TAFE Qualification in Information Technology / Networking or higher
  • Sound understanding of Desktop support Windows 10
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy
  • Basic Understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Basic understanding of all Office applications
  • Strong & clear communication skills - essential
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Passion for everything IT and technology!
