Position Overview
The HR/Junior Recruiter is a vital member of the Human Resources team, responsible for supporting recruiting efforts and various HR functions. This role will focus on sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting in HR processes such as onboarding and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about talent acquisition and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Source and screen candidates for open positions using various platforms, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments, including phone screens, to ensure they meet job requirements.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems with accurate and updated information.
Onboarding
- Support new hire onboarding by ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist with setting up new hires in HRIS platforms and coordinating orientation schedules.
HR Support
- Provide administrative support for HR processes, including maintaining employee files and records.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and communications.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide basic HR-related guidance.
Compliance
- Ensure recruiting and hiring practices align with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance in all HR activities.

- 8:30 am - 5:00 pm M-F
