 About the role

This exciting opportunity will see you joining our exceptional team in our Cairns office. We are dedicated to providing tailored advice and legal services. Our team works hard to deliver a personalised service, empathetic support and the best possible legal outcomes for all of our clients in these difficult times. Now that’s a role with purpose.

We are looking for a Lawyer with a strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice. We are open on experience, and welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about Personal Injuries.

 We are looking for someone who:

• Works effectively with others and fosters positive relationships;
• Has a strong client and relationship building skills, you cultivate and manage relationships with referrers and other external stakeholders;
• Contributes to team success and collaborates seamlessly;
• Is resourceful, you find creative solutions and adapt to challenges;
• Is determined and motivated to make a difference, driving successful outcomes;
• Is client focused with a genuine passion for helping people;
• Ideally has prior experience in Workers’ Compensation, Public Liability and CTP Claims;
• Knowledge of the relevant procedural rules relevant to Personal Injuries.

You will bring your experience in:

• Review and analysis of records;
• Drafting written communications to clients;
• Drafting court documents;
• Attending court for procedural hearings;
• Deeply understanding clients’ needs.
