Job Description Summary

Project Management/ Planning/ Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

LEASES

  • Establish, document and maintain all processes and procedures for Lease Pool administration and document control requirements.
  • Serve as the focal point of contact for all customer questions and issues regarding lease engine agreements, invoicing, technical inquiries, parts, and documentation requirements.
  • Review Customer Services Agreements (i.e., RPFH), Letter Agreements and other contractual commitments for verification of customer lease pool access eligibility requirements.
  • Review and prepare lease engine requests for coordination with CFM partner entities (SAFRAN and engine owners) and with internal processes (Fleet Stability, Customer Issue Resolution, etc.)
  • Prepare and manage individual leases and lease amendments for customers, aggregating information from multiple sources.
  • Lead negotiations with customers on terms and conditions.Β  Coordinate discrepancies and inquiries in lease negotiation with legal, finance, engineering departments.
  • Track leasing activities and milestones and consolidate into single data source for lease history & metric tracking.
  • Prepare shipping requests and facilitate proper handling of engine movements for individual leases and geographical reallocations.

REDELIVERY

  • Establish redelivery expectations and timelines with customers in order to minimize redelivery process time.
  • Facilitate redelivery calls with customers and engine owners and track and maintain status reporting of all engines in redelivery process.
  • Maintain records of redelivery findings and missing parts to track against invoicing received from engine owners.
  • Review shop status of engines in MRO in an effort to maximize lease engine availability.

INVOICING

  • Review utilization invoices from engine owners for accuracy and approve for payment.
  • Review utilization and daily fee invoices being issues to customers for accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
  • Research/approve customer rebill invoices going to customers for accuracy and maintain documentation and approvals.
  • Verify lease days invoicing by customer from SES on quarterly basis.
  • Track overall invoicing process to verify that all leases are invoiced to customers every month

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to handle difficult customer negotiations and reactions with pure professionalism.
  • Ability to heavily multitask and prioritize many competing requirements.
  • Degree from an accredited university or college (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in project management).
  • Significant experience in project management.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with many differing organizations internationally with competing priorities.
  • Basic product familiarity.

Desired Characteristics

  • Working knowledge of the large turbofan engine leasing market.
  • Ability to connect customers, CFM and LEAP program managers, engine lessors and MRO shops to expedite redelivery plans.
  • Strong background in IATA 2012 master document as it pertains to spare engine leasing.
  • Detail oriented with regards to document creation, revision, execution and retention.
  • Flexibility in work hours to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
