POSITION SUMMARY:
At Freedom Forever, we are seeking an innovative and results-driven Learning Experience Designer who is passionate about creating transformative learning experiences. You will be pivotal in partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and deliver impactful, human-centered learning solutions that drive professional development across the organization. This role requires expertise in adult learning theories, instructional design best practices, and learning experience design. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Docebo preferred) and a strong background in designing interactive, learner-centered content that delivers measurable results and elevates the learning journey.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design effective, engaging, and scalable learning experiences, incorporating both macro and microlearning strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to define learning objectives and outcomes, ensuring content is strategically aligned with business goals and adult learning principles.
  • Design and develop interactive, human-centered digital content, including eLearning modules, microlearning, mobile learning, and blended learning experiences that resonate with diverse learning styles.
  • Assist with management and optimization the Learning Management System (Docebo preferred) to ensure efficient content organization, a seamless user experience, and easy access to learning resources.
  • Leverage design thinking and learner experience research to create intuitive, engaging, and immersive learning environments that increase learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives through data analysis, user feedback, and metrics, applying insights to enhance content and improve learner outcomes.
  • Regularly review and update training materials to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and adherence to business objectives, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Research and apply the latest trends in instructional design and learning experience design, ensuring all content reflects cutting-edge practices and technologies in digital learning.
  • Utilize learning analytics and user experience research to drive continuous improvement in learning initiatives and outcomes.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on creating interactive, learner-centered content grounded in adult learning theories and learning experience design.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems, preferably Docebo.
  • Proven success in developing multimedia-based learning solutions, including microlearning, mobile learning, and blended learning experiences.
  • Experience applying user-centered design thinking to the creation of engaging, intuitive learning content.
  • Solar industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in instructional design and learning experience design tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar software for building engaging digital learning experiences.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, microlearning, and learning experience design methodologies.
  • Ability to apply design thinking and user experience research to create engaging and immersive learning environments.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using data and learner analytics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and inform continuous improvement.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Google and Microsoft Suite applications.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
