Role Overview:


Our client is seeking a motivated Litigation Paralegal to support their growing litigation department. The ideal candidate will assist solicitors with their caseload, helping manage a variety of litigation matters. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment with excellent opportunities for career development.


 


Key Responsibilities:


 


• Assist solicitors with managing a varied caseload of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, civil litigation, and contract disputes.


• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.


• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, reports, and bundles for court.


• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties to ensure timely progression of cases.


• Assist with preparing documents for court filings and attend hearings as required.


• Maintain and organise case files, ensuring accurate and timely updates.


• Help solicitors with business development and client care initiatives where necessary.


• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, answering client inquiries, and scheduling meetings.


 


Requirements:


 


• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a paralegal, ideally within litigation.


• A law degree (LLB), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or CILEX.


• Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise workload.


• Proficient in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office applications.


• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


• Commitment to delivering high-quality client care.


• Experience with preparing trial bundles, liaising with courts, and supporting solicitors with day-to-day tasks is highly desirable.
