Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift Manufacturing - Base Salary to 76k/year - Brighton, MI
Our client, a family-owned company with over 100 years of history, is experiencing growth through expansion and is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to support their expanding operations.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing various equipment; troubleshooting and modifying mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and pneumatic systems; following technical specifications and safety procedures; and updating service documentation.
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain various equipment, including conveyor systems and production machines, to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
Install, troubleshoot, replace, repair, adjust, and modify mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation of machinery.
Adhere to electrical codes and follow detailed manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment to ensure compliance and safety.
Read, use, and update shop prints and manufacturer’s manuals to accurately service and install equipment and distribution systems, ensuring they are correctly maintained and updated.
Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment and comply with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a production environment, or a two-year technical degree
