Position: Maintenance Technician, Vineyards

Location: Oliver, BC

Status: Regular / Full-Time                                                       

                    

We are currently recruiting for a detail orientated, process and quality focused team player who is self-motivated and goal driven to fill the position of Maintenance Technician, based out of our Oliver vineyards.

Arterra Wines Canada Western Viticulture Department is a multi-farm operation with world class properties spanning across the South Okanagan from Osoyoos to Summerland. We have premium vineyards containing a wide range of grape varieties, soil types and growing conditions.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Technician you will be an integral part member of our Vineyards Maintenance team and will be responsible for the maintenance & repairs on buildings and equipment throughout our vineyard locations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducts repairs and preventative maintenance within various buildings throughout vineyards. Ensures buildings/equipment meet all safety regulations

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with the facility equipment

  • Completes carpentry, painting, minor electrical, and plumbing maintenance as needed

  • Operates hand and power tools and class 5 vehicles in the performance of tasks

  • Work with outside vendors to develop project budgets/quotes and coordinate logistics of repairs or projects

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 3-5 years in various general facilities maintenance positions

  • Valid driver’s license

Compensation: $22.16-$28.68/hr
