The Opportunity: 

 
As a Media Buyer at OBI, you will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and purchasing media space to maximize the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. Your role involves collaborating with creative and performance teams to ensure that media strategies align with campaign goals and deliver measurable results. You will use your expertise to optimize media buys, drive efficient spending, and ensure that we reach our target audiences effectively. 

 

What You Will Do: 

 

  • Media Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute media buying strategies that align with campaign objectives and target audience profiles. Your curiosity will drive you to explore and leverage the best media channels for each campaign.
  • Negotiation & Purchasing: Negotiate and purchase media space across various channels, including digital, print, TV, and radio. Your tenacity will ensure that we secure the best rates and placements for maximum impact.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the implementation and execution of media buys, ensuring that campaigns are running smoothly and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor campaign performance, using data to adjust and optimize media buys for improved ROI. Your responsibility will be reflected in the effective management of media budgets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams to ensure that media placements align with the campaign’s creative strategy. Your collaboration will ensure cohesive and impactful advertising efforts.
  • Budget Management: Manage media budgets efficiently, ensuring that spending is allocated according to campaign priorities and that financial goals are met.
  • Market Research & Insights: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, audience behavior, and media opportunities. Your innovation will help you identify new and effective media channels.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed reports on media spending, performance metrics, and campaign effectiveness to the executive team. Use insights from these reports to inform future media strategies.

  

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Media Buying Experience: Proven experience in media buying across various channels, with a strong understanding of media planning and negotiation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to optimize media buys and measure campaign performance.
  • Negotiation SkillsDemonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with media vendors to secure the best rates and placements.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively with creative and performance teams to align media strategies with campaign objectives.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing media budgets and ensuring that spending aligns with campaign priorities.
  • Market Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of media trends, audience behavior, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to media buys and campaign performance.
