ABOUT US:

BLUE IRIS is a family owned and operated, leading NDIS support provider, specialising in complex mental health care, with offices in Ipswich, Toowoomba and Morayfield, dealing with participants across the state. This role will require the successful candidate to travel to various locations; and although we would prefer an Ipswich office ‘base’, we are open to other offices.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

This full-time role reports directly to the NDIS Client Services Manager and works within the Support Management team.

The Quality, Risk & Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that BLUE IRIS meets the standards and regulations set by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This role involves overseeing compliance processes, conducting audits and risk assessments, and providing feedback to the NDIS Client Services Manager in order to maintain compliance and enhance service delivery standards.

You will have an excellent focus and understanding of the regulatory responsibilities and interface of the NDIS system, with a thorough understanding of Restrictive Practice and PRODA Reporting.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Extensive Restrictive Practice knowledge and experience in PRODA reporting

• At least 2 years of experience in a compliance or quality assurance role, within the disability sector

• In-depth knowledge of NDIS standards, regulations, and guidelines

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Health, Social Science, OHS or other relevant field (or working towards)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Intermediate computer literacy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be resilient, patient, empathetic, respectful and culturally sensitive – and basically – be a good human!
