As a Negotiation Payments Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing client payment plans, ensuring compliance with creditor guidelines, and maintaining accurate account records. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the successful resolution of payment discrepancies and document processing. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will interact with creditors and internal teams to facilitate smooth payment operations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm est

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and review client payments to ensure compliance with creditor guidelines and company policies.

• Analyze, verify, and upload financial documents, including Letters of Satisfaction, Settlement Letters, and 1099 forms.

• Maintain accurate account records, update statuses, and resolve discrepancies such as uncashed checks and moved accounts.

• Monitor Salesforce notations and resolve assigned tickets to ensure proper documentation and workflow efficiency.

• Communicate with creditors via phone and email to confirm account statuses, request necessary documentation, and address inquiries.

• Process and send Power of Attorney (POA) documents to creditors as needed.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency.

• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Proficiency with Mac OS

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong mathematical skills

• Great attention to detail

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
