Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Maintenance
Provide onsite troubleshooting and support for network, server, and personal computer platforms.
Perform housekeeping, proactive maintenance, and system administration.
Implement technical platform changes and small works projects.
Replace failed equipment and manage device configurations.
Maintain and administer network infrastructure, VLANs, ACLs, firewalls, telephony systems, wireless controllers, and backup solutions.
ITIL Service Management
Manage service requests and escalate as needed.
Classify tickets against SLA agreements and participate in incident reviews.
Ensure change management is applied correctly.
Project Support & Leadership
Assist in the scoping, planning, and implementation of small projects.
Participate in mentoring junior engineers to enhance team capabilities.
Maintain and improve process documentation and contribute to resource budgeting.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong 2nd line support experience
ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification.
Cisco Networking experience, including VLANs, ACLs, and firewall administration (CCNA certification required).
Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure administration.
Proficiency with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Experience in VoIP, PBX systems, and telephony administration.
Strong knowledge of backup solutions, antivirus/EDR deployment, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ticketing and RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Auvik, Automate).
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
VMWare VCP certification.
Microsoft 365/Azure certifications.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Exceptional attention to detail and ticket management.
Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
