Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, and other issues; test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems, repair or replace broken plumbing parts, and clear obstructions in plumbing systems.
Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used, and provide reports as needed.
Identify and resolve plumbing issues promptly and efficiently, providing practical solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a plumber, with a strong background in industrial plumbing.
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in plumbing is preferred.
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
Proficient in using hand and power tools related to plumbing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
