As a Production Supervisor for our Night Shift you will responsible for production shift operations and for ensuring maximum productivity. 


Some of your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lean Manufacturing Management

  • Liaise with lean manufacturing consultants and assist with the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Evaluate lean manufacturing initiative effectiveness

Health and Safety Management

  • Supervise and reinforce the correct and proper use of PPE and equipment
  • Conduct health & safety audits
  • Liaise with health & safety consultants

Production Operations

  • Co-ordinate with the Process Engineer all production operation efforts
  • Co-ordinate with the Maintenance Manager all TPM/Maintenance issues
  • Assist factory manager plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of the production department

Equipment Operation

  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work
  • Control and monitor the production and usage of PPL-Bag House Powder
  • Ensure Mix Sheets are prepared in advance

Quality, Inspection and Testing

  • Oversee the entire panel sampling process
  • Assist in the verification and correction of the quality of product runs (Drylac and/or Metallic)
  • Utilize quality testing equipment to verify and make corrections as needed

People Leadership

  • Co-ordinate training of all production employees with the Production Training Manager
  • Conduct interviews for new employees
  • Co-ordinate onboarding
  • Provide ongoing learning & development opportunities for production employees and supervisors/team leads
  • Personally coach and mentor production employees and supervisors/team leads
