The Aspenwood Company is currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiter. As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within our organization.


Responsibilities



  • Assist hiring managers in determining requirements for each position and the qualities for the best candidates.

  • Attracting candidates through various channels like social media and professional networks.

  • Provide training to leaders regarding recruiting practices, on-boarding and orientation.

  • Determine and implement recruiting best practices.

  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System and assure proper utilization.

  • Prepare weekly report on recruiting activity.

  • Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to our industry.

  • Recruit and evaluate top non-exempt and exempt talent using multiple sources such as networking, job fairs, social media and job postings.

  • Screen resumes, interview candidates both by phone and in person.

  • Assure positive candidate experience.

  • Follow-up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting processes.

  • Develop and deliver written offers of employment for management level positions.

  • Assure hiring process aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews, timing of transfer with supervising managers, transfer offer letters, additional backgrounds, etc.

  • Monitor trends regarding compensation’s impact on offer acceptance and notify VP of HR and Recruitment Manager of any identified patterns.

  • Positively contribute to the culture, energy, and growth of the company.

  • Maintains a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per companyΒ policies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements



  • Previous experience in recruiting or HR is preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organization and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
