Summary
The Construction Coordinator is responsible for tasks related to customer calls, project monitoring, tracking,
coordination, estimate creation, and project audit. General office duties, such as drafting correspondence, filing,
and creating reports are also included within this role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with customer service and management of the customer experience
- Assist with scheduling activitiesEducate customers on process
- Confirm with Construction Manager project scope of work is complete
- Ensure paperwork is complete with customer and client and estimates are distributed to all necessary parties
- Acquire proper permits and schedule inspections with building departments
- Order materials and supplies as neededMaintain internal and external communications and communication logPerform project close-out
- Prepare project reports and when completed review file documentation
- Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) report
- Update project budgets, schedule, and timelines
- Issue POs based on project budget
- Support Construction Manager ensuring customer and client agreement on scope and estimate
- Review and validate project file documentation
- Enter lead/jobs into the operating system and ensure all information in the project is correct
- Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma/GED; Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the restoration and/or construction industry
- Working knowledge of business software technologies
- Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate math skills
