Join our Guest Services Leadership Team to facilitate the delivery of exceptional customer service in our renowned Restaurant at the home of Brown Brothers in Milawa, Northeast Victoria.

About the Restaurant: Having recently retained our Age Good Food Guide hat for the second year, Brown Brothers restaurant pairs 135 years of wine making history with seriously good food.  Menus change with the seasons and cater for light lunches, shared feasts or a 5-course degustation.  Our food philosophy centres around the kitchen garden and minimal waste all whilst creating and sharing wine adventures with guests. 




Description

About the Role: This is a diverse role based in regional Victoria in the King Valley, 2.5 hours Northeast of Melbourne.  Brown Brothers is an iconic tourist destination recognised for its outstanding diversity around food and wine experiences, exciting event calendar, and host approximately 100,000 visitors per year, with our Cellar Door and Restaurant central to our offer.  This role also offers strong development and progression opportunities. The role is predominately day shift based allowing excellent work life balance.


Key responsibilities:



  • All aspects of staff management including recruitment, induction, supervision, rostering, and training to meet agreed service standards and costs.

  • Develop and inspire a front-of-house team that is motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of delivering a meaningful brand experience to all customers.

  • Manage the administrative requirements of on-site Restaurant front-of-house teams.

  • Work within our Guest Services Leadership team to identify and implement opportunities for innovation and improvements.




Skills And Experiences

About the person:  You will be a hospitality professional who’s full of energy, a fun but inspirational leader who has great communication skills outstanding attention to detail and a positive attitude. Most importantly, you must be committed to and capable of delivering a high standard of service to all customers.


You will love diversity and have an innate ability to lead a dynamic team to achieve outstanding results and deliver the visitor experience like no other.


Having a passion for wine and food and all things hospitality will be super important, as will your extensive people leadership skills.  A sense of fun and good humour will help maintain a positive and enjoyable workplace.
