We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager who can oversee day-to-day operations, hire and train qualified staff members, and maintain high food standards. The restaurant manager will also be responsible for developing a positive brand image through consistent customer service and a strong understanding of restaurant protocol. With professionalism and a positive attitude, they will help contribute to the growth and popularity of our restaurant, as well as the long-term success of our employees.


Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the restaurant.
  • Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members
  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Regularly review product quality
  • Manage inventory and par levels to minimize being out of any items
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Resolving customers' questions and grievances professionally.
  • Conduct time card audits
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff
  • Ensure that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations
  • Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Assist in controlling operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations


Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in a restaurant setting
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Understanding of financial management
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant management software
  • Ability to memorize and explain the restaurant’s menu
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
