The Sales Manager/Business Development will collaborate with internal teams and work closely with marketing and product development to align sales strategies with Shamrock's overall objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Sales reporting and analysis: Track and report sales performance metrics, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement.
- Performance Management: Monitor the performance of individual sales team members, provide feedback, and implement strategies to improve sales performance. Recognize and reward high achievers while addressing performance issues constructively.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Work with the sales manager or upper management to implement effective sales strategies and action plans. Ensure that the team aligns with these strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with the sales manager and other departments to create accurate sales forecasts, considering market trends and customer demand.
- Team Building and Motivation: Foster a positive and cohesive team environment. Motivate team members through recognition, incentives, and regular communication.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the sales team and upper management. Ensure open lines of communication and relay important information effectively.

To excel as a Sales Manager/Business Development:
- 2-5 years of sales management experience
- Roofing experience is not required but is preferred
- You should possess excellent leadership skills
- A strong understanding of sales principles
- The ability to inspire and drive your team toward success
- Effective communication
- Problem-solving abilities
- The capability to adapt to changing market conditions is also crucial in this role
- Data-driven and results-oriented will help you make informed decisions and achieve sales objectives efficiently
