Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide physical escort of moneys being transported across the casino floor.
  • Observe all customers and employees entering the casino and check IDs for age verification.
  • Report to shift leader all suspicious activities within sight and hearing.
  • Assist and attend to ill and injured customers and employees.
  • Provide customers with Casino information (i.e. cashiers, restrooms, restaurants, gaming areas, etc.) when asked.
  • Provide chips to various gaming tables on a regular basis.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Wear the required uniform while on duty, and present a neat, professional image.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous security experience preferred.
  • EMT, First Responder, CPR and/or First Aid certifications are helpful.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent communication skills
  • CPR and First Aid certified, or willingness to become certified.
  • Knowledge of various forms of identification.
  • Knowledge of the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel floorplan.
  • Able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical fitness level which allows for continuous mobility throughout the facility.
  • Able to pass pre-employment and semi-annual physical agility tests.
  • Vision correctable to a minimum of 20/40.
  • Good hearing ability.
